When he is not trekking through a rainforest or paddling whitewater, Michael spends a fair bit of his time underwater. As a trained PADI scuba diving instructor he loves introducing people to the wonders of the deep. Each year he certifies dozens of new divers and hosts a number of underwater photographic workshops.
